Position Summary:

As a Continuous Improvement (CI) Specialist, you will have a critical role in planning, executing, and closing improvement projects, collaborating with various leaders to achieve project goals. Additionally, you will be responsible for providing support, analysis, and research into complex problems and processes relating to the transactional processes. The successful candidate will bring strong domain expertise, a process improvement and design mindset, and the ability to listen to stakeholders, identify specific challenges, and articulate practical solutions. This role requires the ability to effectively coordinate and manage multiple high-impact projects.

Reporting to the CI Manager, you will operate as an individual contributor leading process improvement and design initiatives. You will also serve as the primary point of contact for reporting automation efforts and IT requirements management within the transactional processes area.

Responsibilities:


* Lead the planning, execution, and successful closure of process improvement and design projects.
* Drive and actively contribute to the development of reporting and automation initiatives.
* Serve as the primary liaison with the IT team to define, prioritize, and track required system enhancements.
* Partner with cross-functional leaders to understand project needs, align on priorities, and secure necessary resources.
* Develop detailed project plans defining scope, timelines, deliverables, and resource requirements.
* Execute projects in alignment with agreed plans and organizational objectives.
* Communicate project status regularly, providing clear updates, managing expectations, and addressing concerns.
* Identify, assess, and proactively mitigate project risks; resolve issues and implement contingency plans as needed.
* Collaborate across teams to establish and maintain a professional document library that enhances knowledge sharing and process consistency.
Minimum Qualifications:


* Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, Data Science or a related discipline.
* Smartsheet, Visio and Power BI experience.
* Proven experience in project management, preferably in process improvement or organizational development projects.
* Experience in creation of structured reporting / business intelligence.
* Prior experience using word processing, spreadsheet, BI software, statistical analysis, and presentation software.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, utilizing data-driven insights for decision-making.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, conveying complex concepts clearly.
* Ability to create and manage comprehensive documentation systems.
* Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
Additional / Preferred Qualifications:


* Six Sigma / Lean certifications, Yellow Belt or higher preferred.
* Baldrige Performance Excellence Program experience preferred.
* Oracle EBS knowledge, preferred.
