Activities and Responsibilities
Sets up and performs multiple quality tests
Accurately compiles, analyses and provides reporting on statistical data
Prepares reports on testing results
Defines problems and reports all issues with material to management for analysis and disposition
Calibration of test and measuring equipment Will work with outside vendors for the calibration and purchasing of gauging equipment
Analyze bearings returned from customer/field. Measures various physical properties and characteristics. Will document investigations in technical reports
Requires IS09001-2015 experience, develop, implementation and maintain an ISO system
Writing, updating and maintaining the SOP files
Reviews shift production records to determine if performance targets are being met.
Assigns daily tasks to align with achievement of performance targets. Makes recommendations for schedule and sequencing adjustments to ensure success of the shift's targeted production
Reduce and/or eliminate scrap levels on your respective shift.
Inspects finished products and goods to ensure quality, and that industry standards are met before they are declared ready for use. Resolves quality issues as appropriate.
Works toward team initiatives and provides positive morale supporting efforts on respective shift
Assists in design of yearly performance objectives and implements and monitors programming to meet desired outcomes.
Coordinates the Unit's scheduling and addresses attendance issues
Tend to the needs of subordinates through various support functions.
Provides for safety and welfare of all employees, and monitors compliance of safety and housekeeping.
Ensures maintenance of production machinery through strives for continuous improvement
Works through others to initiate activities to reduce manufacturing costs.
Ensures compliance to all plant rules and standards.
