What is Summer Youth:

This Summer Youth Work Experience (SYWE) program provides students with disabilities, ages 15-21, with valuable opportunities to explore various career pathways through supervised, real-world work experiences. SYWE is designed to support students who are developing foundational work skills, helping them enhance their abilities and gain insight into professional environments. Participants will engage in work for approximately 12 to 20 hours per week over a five-week period. The primary objective of the program is to prepare students for competitive employment by offering paid, community-based work experiences that fosters skill development and confidence.

• Mandatory Orientation: May 11th-May 14th, 2026 (Make up dates will be provided as needed)
• Summer Youth Program: June 1st, 2026 and will end mid-late August 2026
