We are currently searching for an IT Manager to workonsiteat our Operations Center in Columbus Grove, OH!

 

Under the direction of the Chief Operations Officer, the Information Technology Manager is responsible for administering and coordinating the financial institution’s information technology activities. Manages the Information Technologies department, including computer operations and personnel.  Directs conversion of existing financial institution procedures to electronic data processing systems.  Directs the development and maintenance of schedules to ensure efficient operation and timely output of information.  Plans future hardware and software requirements for the financial institution.  Manages third party IT support team.

 

Information Technology Manager Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates all activities of the department including personnel assigned to the computer operations.
  • Oversees the training of information systems department personnel.  Reviews performance evaluations and recommends salary adjustments, promotions, discharges and other personnel-related actions.
  • Works closely with all department heads in determining priorities to ensure that processing and reporting needs are met and carried out on a proper and timely basis.
  • Supervises all activity related to the preparation of computer input and output and is responsible for all security measures for the computer room, computer equipment, programs and computer output.
  • Makes recommendations and participates in the selection of related equipment to be purchased or leased.
  • Is involved in management considerations regarding new services and systems and expansion of existing systems as they relate to item and data processing needs.
  • Manages third party IT providers and works with them to maintain the company’s network.
  • Responsible for ensuring that the company is and remains compliant with all audit and regulatory requirements.  This includes the development of review procedures and related monitoring of prior regulatory and audit comments, department policies and procedures.
  • Maintains awareness of new technologies and determines the best course of action to obtain strategic advantage without subjecting the company to any undue risk.
  • Coordinates all committee communications, including chairing the IT Committee.

 

Managing Staff:                           

  • Manages Information Technology department.  Provides input on the hiring and review process.
  • Conducts periodic operational training that covers security, regulatory compliance and other procedural issues as necessary.
  • Responsible for ensuring that personnel is cross trained to make certain IT services are uninterrupted should a member of the IT team be absent.  

 

Operations:                    

  • Responsible for ensuring all technology services duties are performed in compliance with internal procedures.
  • Keep abreast of changes in products, policies and procedures, and attend training as needed. Ensures the technology services procedures manual is updated on a regular basis as needed.
  • Assists corporate projects to meet the goals of the company.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Customer Service:                     

  • Assists with resolution of technology problems and issues.
  • Assures that all the information technology personnel are providing excellent service.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Prefer bachelor’s degree in IT field and 3–5 years experience in a related position.
  • Must be willing to have a flexible work schedule to meet needs of department
  • Prefer VMware, Fortinet, and Veeam experience
  • Must have the capacity to work under stress and handle difficult situations.
