Overview:
An automotive supplier in the greater Dayton area is seeking a senior-level accounting professional who is looking to take the next step toward a future leadership role within a manufacturing environment. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with management, contribute to financial planning, and gain broader responsibility across accounting operations.
Responsibilities:
・Oversee accounting operations including monthly close, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis; prepare and present financial results to management.
・Support business plan development and ensure financial data aligns with corporate objectives; provide recommendations to leadership as appropriate.
・Coordinate AP, AR, payroll, inventory, and cash management activities while maintaining internal controls and daily liquidity oversight.
・Assist with process improvements, regulatory compliance, and year-end audit support in collaboration with external CPA firms.
・Provide financial analysis on organizational performance and special projects to support decision-making across departments.
Qualification:
・Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business, and 3–5 years of experience in corporate accounting functions, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
・Basic knowledge and hands-on experience with an ERP system; experience with Plex is a plus.
・Business-level English proficiency required; ability to communicate effectively with executive leadership and cross-functional teams.
・Prior supervisory experience and manufacturing or cost accounting experience preferred.
