Job Description
The Research and Development Intern:
Assists on projects within Process Engineering and Development related to new allograft development, recovery, and processing method improvements.
Collect and analyze data using statistical tools.
Assist in transitioning new/improved processes into production.
Assists with the preparation of reports and manuscripts for publication internal or external review.
Assists with surgical procedures in support of pre-clinical research projects as needed.
Ensure compliance with regulatory authorities, following standard practices and procedures.
Provide recommendations for work instructions, job aids and policies, and assist in modification/development of same.
Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:
High School diploma and currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Science degree program (or higher) from an accredited university in an applicable discipline (i.e., engineering, chemistry, biochemistry, physiology, etc.) or other closely related scientific area.
Ability to solve and analyze technical problems and give recommendations.
Detail oriented, organized, and capable of accurately documenting work using excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong PC skills including Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Access, Power Point).
Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across functional organizations.
Work Environment & Physical Activities:
Position requires exposure to gross anatomy.
