CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking an Electric Distribution Planner I to join our Electric Distribution Team in Columbus, OH, where you'll play a key role in supporting utility infrastructure projects across diverse field locations. This unique opportunity blends technical analysis with hands-on fieldwork, offering the chance to gather data using state-of-the-art equipment and contribute to the planning and design of electric distribution systems.


What You'll Do:




Travel regularly to client sites to assist in field surveys of electrical distribution networks using advanced tools and technology
Coordinate new service requests and third-party activities to support grid modernization
Interpret as-built documents and analyze electric distribution data using client GIS systems


What You Bring:




Associate's degree or combination of High School Diploma and relevant work experience required; Bachelor's degree preferred
No experience required, but prior internships or applicable coursework in power distribution preferred
Valid driver's license required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required; experience with ArcGIS preferred
Ability to learn new Work Management systems and technical tools such as AutoCAD and SAP quickly
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, and a collaborative mindset
Ability to work in various weather conditions

Salary Range:




$26.00 - $29.00

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
