Provide Project and team management, including breaking down project concept details into required development activities and deciding the overall development plan without oversight from technical leadership, correlating technical project details with key stakeholders and negotiating the schedule for deliverables. Inform technical leadership of project status as required. Provide mentorship and lead other engineers on best practices. Provide software architecture design, including developing strategies for creating optimized software architecture based on the software element requirements using software architecture modelling tools such as Enterprise Architect. Lead other engineers on highly complex design implementations. Provide software detailed design and unit construction. Provide software unit verification, including performing static code analysis for compliance according to established standards such as MISRA or CERT-C. Develop regression test cases at the unit level, perform software unit verification, prepare test reports and perform verification reviews with technical leadership. Lead other engineers toward implementing optimized test plans which are efficient and provide total test case coverage. Provide software integration and integration testing, including developing regression test cases at the complete integrated software level. Perform software overall verification. Prepare test reports and perform verification reviews with technical leadership. Multiple positions.
Minimum requirements: Master’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering; 5 years of relevant professional experience, including 5 years of experience in Automotive Development; 5 years of experience with C++ Coding, including writing C++ software for automotive vehicle control units (Hand-Coded or Simulink); 5 years of experience with Unit Testing, including developing Stubs/Mocks and test cases for software unit testing (GTest, Parasoft C++ Test, or similar); 5 years of experience with Software Architecture Design/Interpretation, including developing and/or interpreting UML diagrams and flowcharts of software architecture (Enterprise Architect, Rhapsody, or similar); 5 years of experience with Development of Applications for Linux Environment, including developing applications intended to run in embedded Linux environment; 5 years of experience with CI/CD Development, including developing software which utilizes CI/CD development pipeline, familiarity with CI/CD implementation with knowledge to aid in the implementation of new CI/CD environment; 5 years of experience with Software Development Management, including using software development tools to manage schedules, tasks, sw bugs, etc.; 5 years of experience with Software Debugging, including debugging software issues using appropriate SW development tools; and 5 years of experience with Software Integration Testing, including performing software integration testing in vehicle or on test bench.
