Position Title: Class A CDL Truck Driver

Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Class A CDL Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods using tractor‑trailers or other commercial vehicles requiring a Class A license. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail‑oriented, and committed to excellent customer service while strictly following all DOT regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles, including tractors, end dump trailers, flatbeds (depending on assignment).
Transport goods to and from designated locations in a timely, professional manner.
Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections and report any issues immediately.
Secure cargo according to company and DOT safety standards.
Maintain accurate logs of working hours, vehicle maintenance, and delivery records as required.
Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members.
Adhere to all federal, state, and company transportation regulations and policies.
Follow company safety protocols and maintain a clean and professional vehicle.
Assist with loading and unloading when needed (role‑specific).
Qualifications
Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
Clean driving record meeting company standards.
Minimum 2 years of Class A driving experience preferred.
Ability to operate manual and/or automatic transmission trucks.
Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and hours‑of‑service rules.
Ability to pass DOT physical and drug/alcohol screening.
Excellent time‑management and communication skills.
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit for long periods and drive for extended distances.
Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs., ability to tarp/untarp, strap/unstrap (depending on job requirements).
Tolerate a range of weather conditions during driving and loading/unloading.
Work Schedule
Typically, Monday – Friday, various start/end times depending on assigned run.
May include evenings, weekends, overnight travel, or regional/OTR assignments depending on route.
