Worldpay, LLC seeks EMV/Payments Engineer in Cincinnati, OH to develop core versions of software applications for sale to external clients. Identify client purchasing requirements and technical specifications through product management and/or client representatives. interact with engineering groups to assist in design changes to equipment and/or software. Train and communicate with clients on systems application. Analyze, design, program, debug and modify software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked or internet-related computer programs (code must be used in core version of applications available for sale commercially). Interact with product managers and/or users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications. Participate in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements. Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements. Write code, complete programming and perform testing and debugging of applications using current programming languages and technologies. Complete documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance. Train and communicate with internal client training, client relationship and sales teams on systems application. Responsible for developing or executing project plans, budgets and schedules and for documenting work and results. Deliver informational and decision-seeking presentations to technical and business groups to internal and/or external audiences.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation: performing full-stack with .NET C#; working with end-to-end systems development life cycles; selecting and deploying cloud technologies in Azure; developing and utilizing sequence diagrams and class models; working with microservices/REST API based architecture; developing high performance, multi-threaded, enterprise grade applications; writing understandable and testable code while embracing unit and integration test concepts and mocking frameworks; working in electronic payment industry; working with online transaction processing system; utilizing Ingenico payment hardware including Telium, Tetra, and Axium; utilizing Verifone payment hardware including Vx, Mx, and Engage; utilizing EMV processing including certifications using UL/Collis and ICC/Viable tools; and working with load tests and simulating heavy device traffic. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master’s degree in the above listed fields and three (3) years of experience in the above listed skills. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policy. When not telecommuting, must report to work site.
