* Review, redline, and negotiate contracts using approved language guidelines and institutional standards.
* Track contract negotiations in designated systems and maintain accurate, up-to-date records.
* Implement requested contract language changes and submit revised documents to sponsors for review and approval.
* Maintain ongoing communication with sponsors and assigned departments regarding contract status, timelines, and next steps.
* Apply and leverage the organization's approved contract provisions during daily contract review.
* Manage the receipt, routing, and execution of finalized contracts.
* Review, revise, and negotiate contract terms and advise Pre-Award Grants teams as needed.
* Collaborate with the Innovative Pillar, Office of Legal Affairs, and internal leadership on contract language and compliance issues.
* Review contract terms with the Contracts Team Lead, Assistant Director, and/or Director as required.
* Process Master (Boilerplate) agreements, work/study orders, amendments, and contract modifications.
* Review IRB and/or IACUC approvals, associated budgets, complete AIM forms, and prepare documentation for Post Award account establishment.
* Guide departments through research administration processes, procedures, and best practices related to clinical research contracts.
Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in business, finance, healthcare administration, paralegal studies, or a related field required.

* Experience working in a research administration office or industry equivalent.
* Proficiency with MS Office Suite, PeopleSoft, Adobe Pro, Adobe Sign, iContracts, Cayuse, and Oracle enterprise systems.
* Familiarity with clinical trials, research compliance, budgeting, and grants management.
* Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
