Job Description

As the Quality Control Engineer, you will be the main contact for Technical, Operations, and Site Teams and Customers in providing support related to quality issues or questions. You'll provide support and collaborate with Account Managers, Customers, and Site Teams on batch information and provide guidance on corrections or modifications. You will report to the Quality Control Manager and will work onsite in Cleveland, OH.

Main Responsibilities:

Provide Technical, Production, and Sites with detailed batch information
Manage formula optimization requests to meet samples per batch metric
Establish QC process and requirements for new codes being transferred to manufacturing
Be the batch recertification process owner
Participate in all QC Safety directives
Oversee and lead activity on high priority batches
COA processing and modification
Issue and respond to CAIR's specific to their account
Pre-trial, trial batch, and launch support
Investigate and support batch investigations
Implement preventative measures for future batches
Collaborate with Customer Quality Engineer's CAIR investigations and audits

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science related field
3+ years of experience including Automotive OEM customer products, testing, and specifications preferred
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or training for Green Belt Certification preferred

The base salary range for this position is $77,000-80,000.
