Administrative Assistant
Summary: The Administrative Assistant is responsible for but not limited to:
- Answering phones, greeting clients, and setting appointments
- Process various types of documents relating to paying bills, travel reservations, purchase orders, and balancing monthly budgets
- Participate in civic functions and assist in planning, preparation, and execution of events on behalf of the commission
- Any other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Computer knowledge and skills including proficiency in Microsoft Applications
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with emphasis on spelling, grammar, and punctuation
- Basic skills in inventory record keeping, mathematics, online ordering, filing documents and processing paperwork
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ohio Revised Code 5901.06 requires that qualified applicant "shall be a veteran, or if a qualified veteran is not available, the spouse, surviving spouse, child, or a parent of a veteran."

Normal working hours are Monday- Friday 8:00- 4:00. On occasion, work may be required outside normal working hours. Some travel may be required. Starting pay will be $18.00- $21.00 an hour dependent upon relevant education and experience.
