Director of Human Resources
Position Overview
The Human Resources Coordinator provides essential support to the HR department by coordinating and administering a variety of human resources programs and processes. This role serves as a key point of contact for employees and leadership and requires strong organizational and communication skills to ensure efficient and compliant HR operations across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support full-cycle recruitment:
- Post positions
- Screen resumes
- Schedule interviews
- Communicate with candidates
- Maintain and track online learning portal.
- Log all learning and development training for compliance.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS system
- Assist with onboarding and new hire orientation, including preparation of employment paperwork and benefit enrollment
- Serve as a resource to employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and general inquiries
- Support benefits administration including enrollments, changes, and vendor coordination
- Process and track employee status changes (promotions, transfers, terminations)
- Assist with coordination of training, professional development, and performance management cycles
- Prepare HR-related correspondence, reports, and presentations
- Maintain electronic and physical HR files in compliance with retention policies
- Assist with compliance reporting (EEO, OSHA, FMLA, and other regulatory requirements)
- Support employee engagement initiatives and company events
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1–2 years of experience in an HR support or administrative role preferred
- Working knowledge of HR principles and employment law
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Experience with HRIS systems preferred
