Work with and provide counsel on strategic initiatives to a broad range of individual contributors (business analysts, project managers, software developers, architects, senior applications, sr. engineers, etc.) within the North America region. Lead small and medium sized projects (medium complexity) to completion and provide consulting support while engaging multiple stakeholders both within the North American region. lead the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of application solutions. Implement and maintain current and target state application and database architectures. Assist other senior applications sr. engineers with definition and management of application technology standards, guidelines, and processes to ensure best quality. Consult with external application solution providers to ensure successful implementation and support of third-party application solutions. Oversee end-to-end systems development life cycle management activities for small to medium sized initiatives. Participate in the maintenance, optimization, and configuration tuning of manufacturing it production applications. Participate in the provisioning, operation, monitoring, troubleshooting, and disaster recovery of manufacturing it production applications. Assist with evaluation of emerging technologies. Participate in daily scrum activities. Provide guidance/mentorship to junior team members. Assist the senior applications sr. engineer with application disaster recovery planning and execution in accordance with RPO/RTO and defined SLAs.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or Information Systems; 8 years of relevant professional exp; 8 years of IT experience; 8 years of experience developing with Microsoft technologies; 8 years of experience with Micro Services; 8 years of experience with DevOps; 8 years of experience with Microsoft .NET Technologies; 8 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server Technologies; 5 years of experience with Web Technologies; 5 years of experience in automotive industry working with production floor equipment and automation; 5 years of experience with Plant Floor Automation/ PLC Integration; and 2 years of experience with Project Management.
