Position Overview
Reporting to the Manager, Processing and Data Services the Pledge Processing Specialist will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate entry of donor pledges, designations, and payments. In addition, the Pledge Processing Specialist produces donor acknowledgement letters, statements, and tax receipts, and designation payouts in addition to performing agency vetting activities for this agencies processing partners and producing ad hoc reports as requested.

Responsibilities
* Researching and accurately posting daily cash receipts information to corporate and donor accounts
* Processing billing statements for corporate and donor accounts in accordance with defined billing schedules for monthly distribution
* Processing donor gift acknowledgement and tax receipt letters in accordance with defined distribution schedules.
* Preparing and importing electronic files into campaign software in alignment with business rules and agency Standard M guidelines.
* Retrieving and maintaining documentation related to the business rules for account posting and data policies, processes, and procedures.
* Assisting with donor choice duties including verifying agency compliance, producing accurate and reconciled agency payouts in a timely manner, maintaining accurate payout parameters within the database of record, monitoring and updating write-in reports, maintenance of online agency reporting portals, and sending communication to designated agencies and United Ways as needed.
* Entering pledge forms ensuring that data is captured accurately in the donor database system in alignment with defined business rules.
* Providing customer service via phone and/or email to agency partners regarding their accounts.
* Other duties as assigned.

Desired Skills & Experience
* High school diploma or equivalent, plus a minimum of 2 years" experience supporting accounting or data processing functions.
* Strong interpersonal and customer relations skills to handle inquiries and work with agency staff on account questions and business process requirements.
* Intermediate computer skills using Microsoft Office 365, email, word processing and spreadsheets.
* Time management and organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
* Demonstrates a positive attitude, flexibility to re-prioritize and switch tasks as needed.
