As a Senior Manager, Procurement you'll be responsible for leading strategic sourcing and procurement activities that support StandardAero's global MRO operations. This role drives supplier performance, cost optimization, risk mitigation, and continuity of supply for critical materials and services, while ensuring compliance with aerospace, regulatory, and company requirements.

What you'll do:

Strategic Sourcing & Category Management

Develop and execute category strategies aligned with StandardAero's supply chain, operational, and financial objectives.
Lead sourcing initiatives for direct and indirect materials, repair services, and strategic suppliers critical to MRO operations.
Conduct market analysis, supplier benchmarking, and total cost of ownership evaluations.
Source, evaluate, negotiate, and procure aerospace capital equipment to meet production requirements, including managing contracting, aggregating spend across multiple sites to leverage volume discounts, standardizing vendor agreements, and coordinating centralized purchase terms and delivery schedules.

Supplier Management & Performance

Establish and manage strategic supplier relationships, including OEMs and critical repair vendors.
Lead supplier negotiations, contract development, and commercial terms (pricing, lead times, escalation clauses, risk protections).
Monitor and improve supplier performance across quality, delivery, cost, and responsiveness metrics.
Partner with Quality and Engineering on supplier qualification, audits, and corrective action plans.

Operational & Cross-Functional Partnership

Collaborate with Operations, Planning, and Program Management to ensure continuity of supply and alignment to production schedules.
Support new program introductions, capacity expansions, and major repair or overhaul initiatives.
Address supply disruptions proactively and lead mitigation strategies for material shortages and long lead-time items.

Cost Management & Continuous Improvement

Deliver measurable cost savings and productivity improvements through sourcing strategies, negotiations, and process improvements.
Support working capital optimization through inventory strategies and supplier terms.
Champion lean principles and continuous improvement across procurement processes.

Leadership & Governance

Provide leadership, coaching, and development for procurement team members, as applicable.
Ensure compliance with company policies, export controls, regulatory requirements, and ethical sourcing standards.
Contribute to enterprise-level procurement initiatives and governance forums.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
10+ years of progressive experience in procurement or supply chain management within aerospace, aviation MRO, manufacturing, or a similarly regulated industry.

Desired Skills

Experience sourcing complex capital equipment for aerospace applications.
Demonstrated success leading strategic sourcing initiatives and complex supplier negotiations.
Strong knowledge of aerospace supply chains, OEM relationships, and regulatory requirements (e.g., FAA, EASA, AS standards).
Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and operate effectively in a matrixed organization.
MBA or advanced degree.
Professional certifications (CPSM, CPIM, CSCP, or equivalent).
Experience supporting global operations and multi-site environments.
Strategic thinking and commercial acumen
Strong negotiation and contract management skills

Executive presence and stakeholder communication
