Job Description

Position: Public Health Nurse (LPN/RN)
Pay Status: Full Time 8-4 M-F
Salary Range: Starting Salary $25.00-$33.29 Based on Experience and Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
Graduate of a Licensed Practical Nursing Program, or Registered Nursing Program, with a current nursing license to practice in the State of Ohio.
Bachelor’s degree preferred; or an associate degree with two (2) years’ experience, or equivalent combinations of training and/or experience. Valid Ohio driver’s license.
Summary of Essential Duties:
Under the direction and supervision of the Nursing Director, this position utilizes nursing and public health concepts and theories including basic epidemiology to provide selected health promotion and disease prevention services to individuals, families, and groups in a variety of settings. Participates in planning, implementing and evaluation health programs including selected health education programs. Participates in public health programs including but not limited to communicable disease control, services to children with medical handicaps, health screenings, child and adult immunizations, newborn home visits, and selected grant sponsored programs.
