SSOE is seeking a Software Developer Co-op Summer 2026. This is an onsite position in our Toledo, OH office. The role requires daily in-person attendance and remote or hybrid work is not available for this position.

Responsibilities




The following duties are typical of the position but are not all encompassing. Responsibilities include those required to deliver quality service on schedule and within budget in a team environment.

* Build custom software to fit the needs of end users
* Delivers end-to-end solutions to the business with oversight as part of a team
* Collaborates on project plans for new work
* Learns how other teams use technologies
* Learns internal team standards
* Attends meetings with end-users to determine requirements and work with project team on how to proceed.
* Assists with database designs
* Implements interface designs for applications
* Works with APIs
* Learns best practices for chosen platforms
* Performs and/or assists with training and follow-up activities.
* Creates and maintains HOW-TO documentation as it relates to custom applications.
* Supports or trains others to support ongoing maintenance, feature requests, and updates.


Qualifications




Students must be enrolled in an accredited computer science program and completed one or more Computer Science, Computer Programming, Web Development or related classes, or equivalent software projects.Rising Junior or Senior academic year preferred.
Experience and/or willingness to learn the SSOE standard developer technologies:
MS SQL Server, .NET, C#, Entity Framework
ASP.NET, MVC, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, jQuery
WPF, PowerShell

Participate in our digital platforms:
o Azure DevOps, MS Teams & Copilot, Planner Boards, SharePoint, etc.

Drive personal results.
Must be registered with the Office of Professional Experience Program or equivalent Co-op office.
Salary range: $20-$23 per hour depending on year in school.
