Job Summary
The Guest Attendant is responsible to greet guests in a friendly and professional manner, provides a warm welcome and attends to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and courteously. This position will provide alcoholic, non-alcoholic, packaged, and prepared food items at the walk up window, pool snack area, and comfort stations for guests/members at Westfield Country Club. Duties include greeting guests in a friendly, courteous manner, handling drinks along with preparing food items requested from the menu. Attendants will operate point of sales systems, collect payment for services, and conduct daily inventory.
Job Responsibilities
Greets guests in a friendly and professional manner, provides a warm welcome and attends to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and courteously.
Follows established safety and security protocols to ensure the well-being of guests and property.
Serves alcoholic, non-alcoholic, packaged, and prepared foods to guests/members at the Country Club through various outlets, including walk-up windows, comfort stations, and pool snack area.
Takes food and beverage orders using a point of sales system, handles payment transactions, and maintains daily inventory records.
Checks the identification of guests requesting alcohol to verify their age using a valid photo ID.
Maintains clean and sanitized workstations throughout the shift, following proper hygiene and safety protocols.
Monitors the alcohol intake of guests and takes the necessary steps to avoid excessive alcohol consumption, and overserving of guests in accordance to Serve Safe trainings.
Complies with all OSHA and Westfield safety/training/certification standards within required timeframes.
Regular operation of golf carts and/or other maintenance vehicles.
Job Qualifications
0 - 2 years of experience in customer service and cash handling.
Possession of a valid drivers license and a driving record that conforms to company standards.
