As our Industrial Electrician, you will:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including motors, generators, transformers, and control systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and perform necessary repairs to ensure operational efficiency.
- Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment.
- Collaborate with other technicians and departments to coordinate repairs and installations.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
- Provide training and guidance to junior electricians and apprentices.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an electrician apprenticeship program preferred.
- Valid electrical license/certification as required by state or local regulations.
- Proven experience as an industrial electrician, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Minimum 2 years of electrical experience in an industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, troubleshooting techniques, and safety protocols.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Willingness to work required daily & weekend overtime as needed in a 3-shift operation.
