REQUIREMENTS: Must be at least 18 years of age. Must be available the entire work period of 3/8/26-11/30/26. Must agree to 36 hr work week. Employer will provide transportation from employer provided living quarters to work site every day. Must read, and agree to, all terms and conditions of employment prior to a referral to the employer.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must have at least 1 month of verifiable experience in all job duties. This job requires exposure to extreme temperatures, ability to lift   lbs., repetitive movements, extensive walking, frequent stooping, extensive pushing and pulling, drug screen.

 JOB DUTIES: Handling manual tasks associated with commodity production and harvest activities. Duties may include pulling weeds, picking up stones and roots, removing reflective tarps in orchard rows, cleaning tractors and basic equipment, and removing strings or wire from trellises. Workers will also help with simple care of young fruit trees, such as weeding around the tree, light hand-clipping, and painting tree trunks. Workers will receive instructions and supervision from a company/orchard supervisor and must be able to follow basic directions. Any task that is not routine will be directly supervised. The employer may change work assignments depending on weather or other unexpected conditions. Workers must stay in their assigned area and perform the work given by the foreman or crew boss. Leaving the farm or work area without authorization may be treated as a voluntary resignation. Workers may be required to attend an orientation on workplace rules, job duties, and safety. The job requires repetitive movements, frequent bending, walking, and standing for long periods of time. Allergies to common plants, pollen, or agricultural chemicals may affect a worker’s ability to perform the job. Work may be performed in a wide range of temperatures, from below freezing to above 105 degrees Fahrenheit. Workers may work in wet conditions, including dew or light rain, and must have appropriate clothing for varying weather. Weekend work may be required. Workers must be able to lift and carry up to 65 pounds throughout the workday.

EMPLOYER ASSURANCES:

BOARD ARRANGEMENTS: Employer will furnish free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities so workers are able to prepare their own meals. The employer will provide transportation to assure workers access to stores where they can purchase groceries.

HOUSING: Employer-provided housing is available for all workers who live outside a reasonable daily driving distance.

TRANSPORTATION TO WORK SITE: The employer will provide transportation for all workers living in the employer-provided housing to and from the daily work site(s).

WORKERS COMPENSATION INSURANCE: Provided.

TOOLS, SUPPLIES, EQUIPMENT: Tools, supplies, and equipment needed to complete the job will be provided by the employer at no cost to the worker.
