Job Description: LANDSCAPE LABORER (5) Temporary Full Time Position 4/1/26-10/30/26, Landscape or maintain grounds of property using hand or power tools or equipment. Workers typically perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following: sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, sprinkler installation,and installation of mortarless segmental concrete masonry wall units AT MULTIPLE JOB SITES IN OTTOWA COUNTY. Optional employer housing provided at $50 per week/$100 per pay period.Optional advance up to $200.00 to purchase clothing for climate and food; repayment for advance deducted from paycheck(s). ABLE TO LIFT AND CARRY 50 POUNDS. SOME OT AND WEEKENDS REQUIRED. 8 HOUR WORKDAY . 40 hours per week, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Workers are responsible for transportation to the designated pick up location in Put In Bay, OH, Transportation to and from worksites will be provided from Put In Bay, OH No exp/NO edu. req'd. $17.54 hr OT $26.31 /hr, Single workweek computation, Pd biweekly by check. All payroll deductions taken, required by law. Merit based raises available at employer discretion. Onsite training and tools, supplies, equip. provided to perform job, w/o charge. If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will reimburse worker for transportation & subsidence (including meals &, to the extent necessary lodging) from the place of recruitment to the place of employment. Upon completion of work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will pay for workers reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or if employer has appropriately reported a workers voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Employer agrees to offer work for at least ¾ of the work days in each 12 week period of total employment period.Daily meals will be provided at a rate of at least $16.28 per /day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 p/day with receipts. Workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees).

Deductions from the Worker’s Paycheck: The employer will make all deductions from the worker’s paycheck required by law.

First Workweek Reimbursement: Workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (except passport fees).

Provision of Tools, Supplies, and Equipment: The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job.

Single Workweek for Pay: The employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due.
