About The Job -

Efficiently prepare and process Commercial, Credit Card, and Commercial Real Estate loan files while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely completion. Provide comprehensive support to all originators and lenders by coordinating documentation, resolving discrepancies, and facilitating smooth loan workflows

Core Hours –

Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Essential Job Duties –

  • Perform high volume, time sensitive duties related to complex loan documentation for all types of commercial loans using the document processing software.
  • Work in coordination with commercial lenders and credit team to ensure the loan terms are carried out within the assigned parameters of the bank.
  • Work in coordination with external business partners, as needed, to ensure the loan closes in a timely and accurate manner.”
  • Maintain knowledge and understanding of complex borrowers, collateral, and credit approval conditions.
  • Administer Construction Loans and follow bank procedures.
  • Request and follow-up on order outs for insurance, appraisals, appraisal bids, environmental reports, title work, and flood determinations.
  • Verify adequate insurance and flood insurance coverage.
  • Obtain loan payoff quotes and remit payoff proceeds for all loan types.
  • Prepare loan funding and other GL transactions to complete the loan funding process
  • Perform quality control on all types of commercial documents in compliance with Bank and regulatory guidelines.
  • Process documentation for Cancelled, Denied, and Withdrawn applications.
  • Provide compliance data collection for HMDA, CRA, Reg O, and BSA.
  • Maintain an organized and complete customer document folder
  • Maintain a proactive internal communication with Loan Processing Lead to enhance loan production and maximize the functionality of the loan processing systems following the established commercial workflow guidelines.
  • Work with branch personnel, both verbally and in writing, in problem solving and question resolution to minimize risk to the Bank and ensure customer satisfaction in the loan closing process.
  • Maintain open communications with Loan Servicing.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to adapt to changing business needs and deadlines.
  • Support customer and banking center inquiries along with other loan divisions as needed.
  • Comply with and maintain working knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
  • Punctual and regular attendance is required

Requirements 

  • Bachelor's Degree preferably in general business, accounting or finance.
  • 3-5 years of prior loan processing
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software and other various software applications
  • Ability to demonstrate a professional business-like demeanor with external business partners
  • Ability to life general business supplies, work in a sitting position a majority of the day, and use keyboard strokes on a normal basis.
