Position Overview
AMPM Employment is hiring Machine Operators for manufacturing and production facilities in the area. This role supports the operation of industrial equipment used to manufacture, process, or convert materials in a fast-paced production environment.
Machine Operators may work in departments such as extrusion, converting, production, or packaging, depending on business needs. This position is ideal for candidates with experience in manufacturing, warehouse operations, construction, forklift operation, or general labor.
Responsibilities
Operate and monitor manufacturing or production machinery
Load raw materials or components into machines
Adjust machine settings to maintain production efficiency and quality
Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
Perform routine checks and basic troubleshooting on equipment
Maintain clean and organized work areas
Follow all company safety procedures and production guidelines
Record production data or report equipment issues when needed
Work with team members to meet daily production goals
Qualifications
Previous experience in manufacturing, machine operation, warehouse, or general labor preferred
Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment
Comfortable working in a fast-paced production setting
Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when required
Basic mechanical aptitude is a plus
Work Environment
Manufacturing or industrial production environment
Some departments may involve warm temperatures, machine noise, or moving equipment
Personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required
