Employer will provide transportation from employer provided living quarters to work site every day. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must have at least 3 months of verifiable experience in all job duties. This job requires exposure to extreme temperatures, ability to lift 50 lbs., repetitive movements, extensive walking, frequent stooping, extensive pushing and pulling, Certification/License requirements, Driver requirements, drug screen.
JOB DUTIES: Handling manual tasks associated with commodity production and harvest activities.
Worker will perform duties under SOC Code 45-2091 Agricultural Equipment Operator such as: Fuel the plane by connecting and disconnecting hose. Mix inputs. Read and understand a load ticket. Load with chemical, fertilizer, seed. Clean all equipment. Mow and maintain airstrips using zero-turn mower and/or a tractor to pull bush hog. Spray weed killer and weed eat around the strips and buildings. Drive equipment such as trucks and skid steers to move inputs from one location to another. Repair holes/washed out areas, and remove debris that collect due to storms and wind. Other duties also include regular maintenance of dry and liquid mixing equipment and loading equipment, washing the loader trucks and airplanes as well as incidental maintenance on the equipment like tractors, lawnmowers, and pickups. Crops to be produces include and are not limited to: corn, wheat, soybeans, hay, etc. Must speak and understand English. Approximate staggered entry; 1 worker to begin May 3 and 2 workers to begin July 15.
EMPLOYER ASSURANCES:
BOARD ARRANGEMENTS: Employer will furnish free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities so workers are able to prepare their own meals. The employer will provide transportation to assure workers access to stores where they can purchase groceries.
HOUSING: Employer-provided housing is available for all workers who live outside a reasonable daily driving distance.
TRANSPORTATION TO WORK SITE: The employer will provide transportation for all workers living in the employer-provided housing to and from the daily work site(s).
WORKERS COMPENSATION INSURANCE: Provided.
TOOLS, SUPPLIES, EQUIPMENT: Tools, supplies, and equipment needed to complete the job will be provided by the employer at no cost to the worker.
