The Opportunity

Our US Gas Operations (USGO) - Erie Plains Region is evolving to meet the needs of our growing business and we are expanding our presence in Cambridge, Ohio

We are seeking a skilled Administrative Analyst who will be responsible for providing support to the Regional Operations Managers and the employees reporting to the managers. This position will be directly involved in the tracking and compilation of the operations and maintenance budgets, expenses, and forecasting activities across multiple lines of business.

The successful candidate must be an efficient time manager, capable of working with minimal supervision, who possesses strong analytical, organizational, and written/verbal communication skills.

What you'll do

Analyze data (financial reporting, variances to budget, etc.)
Handle and process invoices to include verification of accuracy/validity, requesting approval, coding, and submitting
Provide guidance/assistance to team members on company programs and processes such as time reporting, expense reporting, and training
Requisition of needed services and materials
Support management of department budget by compiling reports and assisting with forecasting activities
Provide general and specialized information regarding departmental support functions
Handle highly sensitive and confidential information and issues in an appropriate and professional manner
Review and respond to internal and external communications while maintaining appropriate confidentiality
Maintain the records filing system in accordance with company standards
Assemble weekly management reports
Prepare meeting agendas and take meeting minutes as requested
Prepare documents, spreadsheets, and PowerPoint presentations
Other tasks as required

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Six or more years of related experience
Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
Demonstrated budgeting and forecasting experience

Preferred Qualifications

Associates degree in administration, accounting, finance, business, or a related program
Solid understanding of TC Energy's structure, business interests, and key stakeholders
Working knowledge of SAP

This position requires candidates to

Travel to other company locations for temporary assignments, meetings, or training which would involve some overnight stays away from home
Work overtime when required
