Senior Manager, Meter Technology

Location: Hybrid within Service Area States with Periodic Travel Required

Your role in our success:

This position will lead a team which has a blend of technology and operational aspects of metering that require the candidate to lead the adoption and implementation of technologies impacting meter technology servicing CHPK customers.

Who you are:


You are leading a team which has a blend of technology and operational aspects of metering that require the candidate to lead the adoption and implementation of technologies impacting meter technology servicing CHPK customers.
Partner with operational groups to deliver solutions to better efficiency, compliance, and regulatory needs.
Partner with operational groups to ensure projects are delivered within scope, schedule and budget by managing stakeholder expectations.
Collaborate with developer leads and business users to design, develop, and integrate user interfaces and services that meet business needs.
Account or management of IT professionals either as direct reports or sourced.
Account for translating business outcomes/expectations into clear technical requirements and execution plans.
Serve as the primary contact for operations while directing, solving, and addressing service and production issues.
Address meter read issues thru use of technology that is forward looking working with operations and other cross functional areas.
Adapt, lead, and participate in architecture reviews of solutions being proposed.

Who you are:


Experience delivering solutions/upgrades tied to meter upgrades going to AMI from AMR or Manual.
Good understanding of IT systems and processes.
Experience managing "meter to cash" process in the utility sector.
Experience working with field devices, field data capture, and an understanding of head end systems data flowing to MDM to Billing is a must
Strong strategic thinking skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Seven years' experience in technology management
Regular Driver's License
