Duties: Responsible for defining technical processes, concepts and requirements as well as reviewing/judging the completeness of all technical-related work products within their subject matter area(s), specifically in-vehicle ECU cybersecurity. Support the creation and development of technical strategies or supplier capability assessments together with Technical Leaders. Ensure clear development processes for all technical work items are established, product development is performed and results are verified using the established criteria, and that all technical deliverables meet the company criteria for performance, safety, quality, and reliability at each step within the automobile development process. 10% domestic and international travel required.
Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering Technology, Electronic Systems Engineering Technology or related field; 8 years related professional experience; 8 years of relevant electrical engineering / ECU experience; 5 years of experience in electrical product development including electrical hardware and software; 5 years of experience using measurement and calibration tools like Vector CANalyzer or ETAS INCA to conduct data analysis of the product; and 3 years of experience using basic engineering concept, calculation and communication tools like MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Visio in order to document plans and results.
