INTERMITTENT PERMITTING AND DEVELOPMENT WORKERS – 4 Workers needed
The City of Mansfield, Ohio, Director of Human Resources announces the opening of the following intermittent (16-24 hrs/wk) position in the PERMITTING AND DEVELOPMENT Division:

INTERMITTENT PERMITTING AND DEVELOPMENT WORKERS (Need 4) $14.00
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:
Under the specific guidelines of the supervisor, operates safely and efficiently all types of equipment and performs routine maintenance. Performs related duties as required.
EXAMPLES OF WORK (ILLUSTRATIVE ONLY):
Performs a variety of heavy manual work and operates a variety of non-commercial motor vehicles and equipment related to the functions of the department;
Performs mowing at various locations throughout the City;
Performs construction, maintenance and repair of equipment, grounds, facilities and systems;
Loads and unloads materials and equipment transported;
Performs related duties as required.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge of (1) safety practices and procedures; (2) vehicle maintenance and repair. Skill in (3) operation of motor and power equipment under all types of weather conditions. Ability to (4) follow detailed but basic instructions; (5) perform minor repairs and adjustments to equipment; (6) perform heavy manual labor for extended periods of time under often adverse weather conditions; (7) recognize safety warnings.
ACCEPTABLE EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING:
Experience in heavy manual labor and in the operation of automotive/agricultural equipment; or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
YOU MUST POSSESS A VALID OHIO DRIVERS LICENSE.
