Custom Sewing

Designer Shades, a long standing Delta, OH business is seeking additional employees for fabrication of custom Roman style shades.

Designer Shades is a cut and sew workroom, fabricating custom Roman style shades from a bolt of fabric to a finished ready-to-install custom shade product.  We’re a production facility in a non-factory setting.

We’re seeking individuals for full-time or part-time work.  This is a permanent position, not a seasonal.

Seeking additional staff in these postions:
Fabric inspection and cutting
Sewing
Product Inspection
Finishing

Successful applicants must have the following skills:

Read a ruler to 1/8”, it's a pre-employment requirement and will be tested during the application process.

The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail, matching fabric patterns/fabric repeat and sewing straight stitches.
Self-motivating
Basic math skills
Able to lift a minimum 20 pounds

Our fabrication methods are unique, each one of our products is custom made.

We will train qualified candidates.

Full time hours are Monday – Friday 6am – 2:30 pm.

Part time hours vary with a minimum of 20 hours per week.
