POSITION SUMMARY
A manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Toolmaker / All-Around Machinist with strong conventional machining skills. This role involves working with manual machining equipment to produce, modify, and assemble precision parts and tooling used in manufacturing operations. Both full-time and part-time applicants are encouraged to apply.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform conventional machining operations including milling, turning, and grinding
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
- Perform tool and fixture assembly
- Maintain tight tolerances and ensure quality of machined parts
- Inspect completed parts and make adjustments as necessary
- Maintain safe and organized work areas
- Collaborate with team members to support production needs
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2–5 years of machining experience
- Experience with conventional/manual machining equipment
- Skills in milling, turning, grinding, and assembly
- Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and precision work
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
