Alloy Engineering, located in Berea, a 100% employee-owned company, a diverse fabricator specializing in high-temperature & corrosion-resistant alloys. We are hiring experienced MIG/TIG weld fabricators who can plan, lay out, and perform advanced welding operations on a wide variety of metals—including stainless steel and nickel alloys—in vertical, horizontal, and overhead positions for large and complex fabrication projects.
Reports to: Welding Supervisor
Essential Functions:
- Perform GMAW (MIG) and GTAW (TIG) welding on steel, stainless steel, and nickel alloys.
- Fabricate, fit, and assemble large-scale components according to project requirements.
- Read and interpret advanced blueprints and welding symbols with accuracy.
- Work independently with minimal supervision and consistently meet project timelines.
- Ensure quality workmanship that meets or exceeds ASME and AWS standards.
- Operate, maintain, and utilize fabrication tools and measuring equipment effectively.

- Ability to follow complex written and verbal instructions.
- Accountability for assigned projects, with minimal oversight needed for non-ASME work.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to team attendance standards.
- Desire to learn, grow, and continually refine welding skills.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of MIG and TIG welding experience, preferably in large fabrication.
- At least one certification in GMAW or GTAW
- Proficiency with fabrication measuring tools such as tape measures, micrometers, and calipers.
- Ability to fabricate from blueprints
- Ability to apply basic math skills, including fraction-to-decimal conversions.
- Must provide personal basic tools (e.g., tape measure, combination square, wrenches, weld hood, wire cutters).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in heavy or large-scale fabrication environments.
