Job Description:
HOUSEKEEPER (4) Temporary Full Time Position 4/01/26-10/16/26, Perform anycombination of light cleaning duties to maintain private households or commercial establishments, such ashotels and hospitals, in a clean and orderly manner. Duties may include making beds, replenishing linens,cleaning rooms and halls, and vacuuming. Details; Carry linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaningsupplies, using wheeled carts. Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators,stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas so that health standards are met. Clean rugs, carpets,upholstered furniture, and draperies, using vacuum cleaners and shampooers. Optional employer providedhousing available at $70/ week or $140 per pay period. Workers are responsible for transportation to thedesignated pick up location in Put In Bay, OH, Transportation to and from worksites will be provided fromPut In Bay, OH No exp/NO edu. req'd. ABLE TO LIFT AND CARRY 50 POUNDS, 8 HOUR WORKDAY, SOMEOVERTIME AND WEEKENDS REQUIRED. .Job order is being placed in connection with future filing for H2B labor certification. Must be eligible withinthe USA and available entire work period. If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period,the employer will reimburse worker for transportation & subsidence (including meals &, to the extentnecessary lodging) from the place of recruitment to the place of employment. Upon completion of workcontract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will pay for workers reasonable costs ofreturn transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work,except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or ifemployer has appropriately reported a workers voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount oftransportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable commoncarrier for the distances involved. Employer agrees to offer work for at least ¾ of the work days in each12 week period of total employment period. Daily meals will be provided at a rate of at least $16.28 per/day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 p/day with receipts.
