Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Roll Off Truck Driver to operate roll off trucks for transporting and delivering large containers for waste removal, recycling, and construction debris. The ideal candidate will have excellent driving skills, strong attention to safety protocols, and the ability to interact professionally with clients.
Shift:
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate roll off trucks to pick up, transport, and deliver roll off containers to and from job sites, landfills, recycling centers, and other locations
- Load and unload containers using truck equipment, ensuring containers are properly secured during transport
- Inspect vehicles daily for mechanical issues and report any defects to maintenance teams
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, fuel usage, and delivery/pickup records
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients at pick-up and drop-off sites
- Assist with general yard and equipment maintenance when needed
- Report any incidents, accidents, or safety concerns promptly to supervisors
Qualifications:
- Valid commercial driver’s license, CDL preferred but not required
- Must be able to drive a manual transmission
- Proven experience driving large trucks, preferably roll off or similar vehicles
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Good physical condition and ability to perform manual labor when necessary
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Clean driving record with no recent accidents or violations
Work Environment:
- Outdoor work in varying weather conditions
- Physical demands include climbing in/out of trucks, lifting, and handling equipment
