Minimum Qualifications
For the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor:
Ph.D. in nutrition or a closely related field by the start date of the appointment.
For the rank of Instructor:
Master’s degree in nutrition or a closely related field by the start date of the appointment.
Consideration may be given to candidates with credentialing as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) through the Commission on Dietetic Registration; experience teaching undergraduate nutrition courses at the college or university level; experience delivering courses in face-to-face and/or hybrid formats; and evidence of effective, student-centered teaching.
