Bus/Vehicle Driver-(Part-Time)
Job Summary:
• Safely operate any county or federal vehicle that transports veterans and other approved persons to and
from VA facilities and VA referred medical appointments while adhering promptly to appointment
schedules. Responsible for the preparation of trip records and basic reports on routine maintenance,
mechanical malfunction, accidents, and / or incidents with vehicles and / or equipment.
Qualifications:
• No Experience necessary!
• Valid DD-214 with Honorable or Under Honorable Conditions
• Good verbal communication skills
• At least 21 years of age
• Valid driver’s license for at least 3 years with no record of traffic violations within the last 3 years.
• Be subject to a drug screen and physical
• Be subject to Federal and State background check
Responsibilities:
• Prioritize vehicle maintenance by conducting pre and post trip vehicle inspections
• Provide support to passengers by assisting with boarding and exiting the vehicles
• Perform services such as: laborer, vehicle operator, and other related work assignments as needed to
maintain customer service and the motor-pool.
Job Type: Part-Time
• Part Time position not to exceed 30 hours a week
Pay: $18.00 per hour
• Non-negotiable starting pay
Schedule:
• Flexible Shift, Typical Day
• Monday – Friday
• Occasional Weekends
