Position: Collision Instructor
Location: Cleveland, OH

Hours: Full time (M-F 7A-3P)
Pay: $48,000 - $52,000

POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for teaching collision/automotive-related courses ranging from foundational knowledge to hands-on maintenance training. This role includes developing lesson plans, delivering instruction, conducting assessments, monitoring student progress, and maintaining a safe and effective learning environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and deliver classroom instruction using strong planning and organizational skills
- Develop and implement instructional activities, demonstrations, and hands-on training
- Provide opportunities for student engagement, observation, and investigation
- Instruct students individually and in groups using varied teaching methods
- Maintain a professional and positive learning environment
- Evaluate student performance and provide feedback
- Assign and grade coursework and exams
- Maintain accurate student records and reports
- Utilize instructional tools, equipment, and technology to enhance learning
- Assist with curriculum development and continuous improvement efforts
- Enforce policies, procedures, and safety regulations
- Participate in meetings, committees, and required activities
- Manage classroom/shop materials, equipment, and inventory
- Support student development and career readiness
- Complete additional duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
- Relevant experience in collision repair, restoration, or automotive field
- Ability to instruct and engage students in a classroom and shop setting
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to evaluate performance and provide constructive feedback
- Knowledge of industry standards and safety practices
- Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications / Skills:
- ASE Certification
- I-CAR Certification
- Prior teaching or training experience
- Shop management experience
- Strong knowledge of automotive welding and repair processes
- Student-focused mindset
- Professional development and continuous learning orientation
