Job Description
Job Purpose:
Maintains product quality by analyzing procedures and output; recommending improvements.
Duties:
* Implements new controls and procedures by coordinating quality activities; analyzing impact on current processing schedules and service levels.
* Maintains cost-effective production by reviewing corporate output and distributed materials.
* Optimizes productivity and performance by investigating exploitation of infrastructure tools.
* Enforces quality standards by recommending resolution of outages; developing new procedures and standards; implementing automated software version control; implementing automated distribution software procedures to remote servers and workstations.
* Protects assets by analyzing vaulting procedures; reviewing disaster recovery procedures; ensuring compliance with internal revenue service regulations.
* Completes projects by planning, organizing, and monitoring assignments.
* Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
* Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
* Verifies software quality and functionality by completing tests and reviewing software requirements.
