Full-Time Caregiver (Memory Care)

We are seeking compassionate, dependable full-time Caregiversto join our team at a local memory care community. This position provides direct, hands-on care and support to individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia in a structured, person-centered environment.

Position Details:

  • Full-time positions only
  • Schedules include rotating shifts, every other weekend, and rotating holidays
  • Day, evening, and overnight shifts may be available based on staffing needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and transfers
  • Provide consistent, individualized support to residents with memory impairment while promoting dignity, comfort, and independence
  • Observe and report changes in resident condition, behavior, or needs to the care team
  • Support residents during meals, ensure hydration, and provide medication reminders as permitted
  • Engage residents in meaningful activities and social interaction
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive living environment
  • Follow care plans, safety protocols, and documentation requirements

Qualifications:

  • Experience in caregiving, direct support, home health, or memory care is welcome but not required — paid training is provided
  • Compassion, patience, reliability, and strong communication skills are essential
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a resident-centered environment
  • Reliable transportation is required due to rotating schedules, weekends, holidays, and limited public transportation availability
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including standing, walking, lifting, and assisting residents
