Duties and Responsibilities
Must have knowledge of multi‐rear axle trucks meeting the requirements for Commercial Driver’s Licensing (including a general knowledge of laws, regulations and operation of the stated
vehicle)
Maneuver and control the vehicle in a safe fashion, which includes handling the vehicle on‐site and in over‐the‐
road situations, proper signaling, searching for hazards, controlling speed, lane positioning, matching speeds to
road conditions (wet, dry, snow, or ice), and the ability to drive during the daytime or nighttime;
Safely load and unload all equipment/materials over all terrains, and properly secure all loads;
Help transport cranes and other equipment over‐the‐road;
Travel to job sites and work outdoors;
When not driving, will be directed by supervisor on tasks to be completed around shop and yard;
May need to occasionally lift and carry up to 100 lbs.;
Perform all of the above job functions in a safe manner in order to avoid personal injury and equipment damage.

Skills and Specifications
Must have and maintain a current valid commercial driver’s license;
License must be a Class A for specific truck driven;
Demonstrate the ability to load/unload, secure load, obey highway traffic regulations, and deliver equipment and
materials in a timely manner as not to delay production on job sites;
Must be proficient in the maintenance of the vehicle they are driving;
Must have reliable transportation and show up to work on time every day;
Must be willing to travel to any and all job sites without exception
Must comply with all company safety and personnel policies;
Must be able to work the hours necessary in order to achieve the goals of the company
Physical Requirements
Must be able to stand and/or be on their feet up to 10‐12 hours / day
Must be able to occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to climb, bend, stoop, kneel, lift overhead, work at heights, walk/work in rough terrain in order to
access equipment, tools, materials, and job site in order to complete work;
Must be able to work in outdoor weather and/or unregulated temperatures for 10‐12 hours / day
Education and Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent
2+ years experience driving a truck with heavy equipment (preferred)
*Must be a member of a Truck Drivers Union
