Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Packaging Associate to join our team at a manufacturing facility that produces and packages sandpaper products. This role is responsible for packaging finished goods, ensuring quality standards are met, and supporting production operations in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Package sandpaper products according to company specifications
- Inspect finished products for defects, damage, or inconsistencies
- Label, seal, and prepare products for shipment
- Maintain accurate counts and packaging records
- Assist with operating packaging equipment and production lines
- Keep work area clean, organized, and free of hazards
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
- Meet daily production and packaging goals
- Report any quality or equipment issues to supervisors
Qualifications:
- Previous manufacturing or packaging experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Basic math and counting skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions
