Light Production Assembler – 1st & 2nd Shift (4-Day Work Week)

Cleveland, OH

$18 per hour +$1.00/hour shift differential for 2nd shift

Full-Time

1st Shift: Monday–Thursday  4:00 AM – 2:30 PM
2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday  3:00 PM – 1:30 AM

No Weekends

Reports to: Team Leader

We are looking for Light Production Assemblers to join our manufacturing team. This is a fast-paced production environment, and we are willing to train the right candidates.

 

Position Overview

The Light Production Assembler works as part of a production team assembling components and products used in HVAC and industrial equipment. This role involves following detailed assembly instructions, performing quality checks, and helping maintain efficient production operations.

 

What Your Day Looks Like

In this role you will:

  • Assemble small components and finished products on a production line
  • Follow detailed assembly procedures and work instructions
  • Rotate between tasks to learn different steps of the production process
  • Perform basic quality checks on parts and completed assemblies
  • Use hand tools and small machines to complete assembly tasks
  • Prepare finished products for packaging and shipment
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble products and components accurately according to specifications
  • Read and interpret spec sheets and assembly instructions
  • Position and align parts correctly during assembly
  • Perform simple quality inspections of parts and finished products
  • Use basic hand tools and production equipment
  • Assist with packaging and preparing products for shipment
  • Follow all safety procedures and production standards

 

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous manufacturing or assembly experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to read basic spec sheets and work instructions
  • Comfortable working with hand tools and small assembly equipment
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
  • Comfortable standing for extended periods
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented production environment
