Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Associate to support daily cleaning operations within an automotive manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for maintaining cleanliness across multiple buildings, including production-adjacent areas, ensuring a safe, organized, and professional workspace for all employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning of restrooms, lunchrooms, meeting rooms, and office spaces
- Maintain cleanliness across all assigned buildings and common areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize floors and surfaces
- Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
- Empty trash and dispose of waste properly
- Support general cleanliness in production-adjacent areas as needed
- Report any maintenance or safety concerns to management
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial or industrial cleaning strongly preferred
- Experience working in a manufacturing or automotive plant environment is a plus
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are required
- Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods
Work Environment
- Work is performed in an automotive manufacturing facility
- Exposure to industrial conditions, including noise, machinery, and production activity
- May require use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, gloves, or steel-toe boots depending on the area
- Fast-paced environment requiring consistency, safety awareness, and professionalism
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting pay: $16.00 per hour
- Full-time, stable schedule (Monday–Friday)
