A local union manufacturing company is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to join their team. Work hours are Monday through Thursday from 6 am. to 4:30 p.m. with overtime on Fridays as needed.
Job Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment
- Electrical work including installation, modifying, repairing, or replacing electronic or electrical equipment according to prints and schematics
- Use voltmeters and circuit testers to locate and repair electrical malfunctions while adhering to code
- Perform difficult plant maintenance such as masonry and bricklaying
- Perform day-to-day HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry repairs and perform painting, drilling, cutting, welding, and pipe fitting as needed
- Maintain maintenance supplies and inventory and maintain records of all routine checks on building and equipment
- Perform other duties as needed
Job Requirements:
- Must have a minimum of 3 years Industrial Maintenance experience and able to operate a tow motor
- Must have experience reading and interpreting technical drawings, diagrams, hydraulics, and electrical schematics
- Must have the ability to communicate with foundry supervisors, production managers, and management team to assure repairs are made and equipment is operating effectively
- The ability to solve problem and multi-task is needed
