Food Preparation Worker

An independently owned tea shop is expanding its menu to include fresh, made‑to‑order food items inspired by Asian street‑style cuisine. We are seeking reliable food preparation workers to support this expansion.



Pay:

$15.00 per hour

(No benefits)

Shifts Available:

• 10:00 AM – 4:30 PM

• 4:30 PM – 10:00 PM

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist with basic food preparation, including washing, cutting, and assembling ingredients

• Prepare menu items according to established recipes and food safety standards

• Maintain a clean and organized food prep and kitchen area

• Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures

• Assist with stocking ingredients and supplies as needed

• Support front‑of‑house or kitchen team during busy periods

Qualifications:

• No formal culinary training required

• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team

• Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks

• Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn

• Prior food service or food prep experience is a plus but not required

Work Environment:

• Fast‑paced, casual food service setting

• Training provided on menu items and preparation methods
