Job Description

A steel manufacturing company located in Streetsboro, OH, is looking for a Customer Service/Inside Sales Representative to join our team! This would be a direct hire position, and benefits include 401k with match, Paid Time Off, Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability insurance, and Life insurance options.


Job Duties:

-         Focus on all aspects of customer satisfaction and care which requires exceptional communication skills, professionalism, and an open team approach in dealing with stressful, demanding internal and external customer situations.

-         Set reasonable customer satisfaction goals and measurable metrics. Coordinate efforts between sales, production, quality, shipping, and accounting teams.

-         Handle quotation and order processing including the generation of order acknowledgements.

-         Interact with customers daily, responding to questions and guiding them to the appropriate service, department and individual.

-         Provide information to customers including but not limited to production, delivery, quotation and order status

-         Maintains customer records, update customer account information including pricing and customer requirements/specifications.

-         Problem Solving.

o  Contribute to determining the cause of the problem

o  Contribute to selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem

o  Coordinate expediting correction or adjustment

o  Coordinate customers follow up to ensure resolution

-         Contribute to creating and maintaining a positive company culture that focuses on problem solving by team effort by accomplishing related results as needed and directed.
