Position: Avionics Maintenance Technician (Aircraft)
We are currently seeking a full-time Aircraft Maintenance Technician in Youngstown, Ohio, KYNG
Airport for a Part 145 MRO. In this role, you will be responsible for performing all maintenance,
preventative maintenance, alterations and repairs of aircraft in accordance with work order instructions,
applicable regulations and the Repair Station Manual.
Additional Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, installing, and repairing avionics systems on
corporate jets and general aviation aircraft
Requirements:
- 4 – 6 years of relevant general aviation / corporate aircraft experience required
- Preferred experience with Piston, Turboprop, and Light Jet Aircrafts
- Familiar with installing and troubleshooting general aviation equipment from manufacturers such
as: Garmin, Honeywell, Rockwell Collins, Avidyne, and Aspen.
- A&P License preferred, not required
- Must have prior experience performing FAR 91.411, 91.413 (24 month) inspections. Experience
with FAA 91.411 and 91.413 preferred testing
- Must know and understand manufacturer's installation specifications, such as the process
manuals, or maintenance manuals related to specific job to be accomplished.
- Must be able to fabricate and install all wiring assemblies, static lines and associated
mechanical equipment per drawing.
Pay:
- Starting at a rate of $32.00 per hour or higher commensurate with experience.
