SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must have at least 3 months of verifiable experience in all job duties. This job requires exposure to extreme temperatures, ability to lift 60 lbs., repetitive movements, extensive walking, frequent stooping, extensive pushing and pulling, drug screen.
JOB DUTIES: Handling manual tasks associated with commodity production and harvest activities. Farm Equipment Operator: Job requires worker to complete tasks in farm maintenance and farm equipment operation. Employer will provide instructions and training on specific job duties. Worker will be required to complete the following activities as directed by supervisor: operate different types of farm machinery used for soil preparation, planting, harvesting, bin spreading, and processing including tractors, forklifts, mowers, discs, planters, transplanters, cultivator, back blades, trailers, side-by-side UTV, and other farm equipment; equipment/tractors range in size from 40 HP to 250 HP; drive Employer-provided vehicles; clean work areas, farm property and buildings; maintain grounds and landscaping; repair farm buildings; maintain pallet inventory; install and maintain irrigation; and maintain and repair farm equipment. Pay will be hourly. Other duties assigned under this order will be consistent under Bureau of Labor Statistics Standard Occupational Classification: Agricultural Equipment Operators (45–2091)
EMPLOYER ASSURANCES:
BOARD ARRANGEMENTS: Employer will furnish free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities so workers are able to prepare their own meals. The employer will provide transportation to assure workers access to stores where they can purchase groceries.
HOUSING: Employer-provided housing is available for all workers who live outside a reasonable daily driving distance.
TRANSPORTATION TO WORK SITE: The employer will provide transportation for all workers living in the employer-provided housing to and from the daily work site(s).
WORKERS COMPENSATION INSURANCE: Provided.
TOOLS, SUPPLIES, EQUIPMENT: Tools, supplies, and equipment needed to complete the job will be provided by the employer at no cost to the worker.
