The Vice President, Business Development oversees the corporate development effort and strategy to drive revenue, margin, and operating income. The Vice President, Business Development leads others positively exemplifying BGIS values.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership
* Lead corporate development efforts for BGIS US.
* Drive bookings that increase revenue, margin, and operating income.
* Build and maintain relationships with industry leaders and key and strategic clients.
* Participate in professional associations and organizations.
* Deliver key business metrics.
* Create national sales and marketing plans.
* Report potential business risks to business leaders along with potential mitigation strategies with targeted business development activities.
* Contribute to the completion of other key initiatives as assigned.
Market and Business Development
* Manage sales operations including lead generation, promotion of services, strategic selling, consultative selling, and sales management.
* Oversee proposal and collateral material development.
* Create vertical market tactics.
* Plan, develop, and implement all facilities related marketing activities and promotional campaigns
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
* Time Management skills to balance competing priorities.
* Experienced people leader with demonstrated success of attracting, motivating, and retaining high performance talent.
* Relationship building guru within internal organizational, external clients, and greater network of industry.
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
